Point of Sale

To start a new sale or order ticket, tap Point of Sale on the main menu to display the ClosedTicket screen.

The first time you start Point of Sale, you are prompted to register your CPMobile device.

When you start Point of Sale, if the drawer session assigned to your CPMobile device has not already been activated in Counterpoint, it is activated automatically.

If you have a ticket in progress, that ticket appears when you tap Point of Sale.

From the Ticket screen, you can perform the following functions:

Changing the Ticket Type

Adding an Item to a Ticket

Adding a New Item

Changing an Item's Quantity

Changing an Item's SKU

Returning an Item

Overriding an Item's Price

Applying a Line-item Discount

Applying a Ticket Discount

Removing an Item from a Ticket

Selecting a Customer

Adding a New Customer

Totaling a Ticket

Entering a Cash Payment

Entering a Check Payment

Entering a Credit Card Payment

Entering a Gift Card Payment

Entering a Store Credit Payment

Entering an A/R Payment

Completing a Ticket

Printing a Receipt

Sending a Receipt via E-mail

Entering Order Deposits

Voiding a Ticket

Putting a Ticket on Hold

Recalling a Hold Ticket
