Selecting a Customer

Each new CPMobile ticket is assigned to the default Counterpoint customer (e.g., CASH), but you can easily assign a ticket to a specific customer by looking up a customer record or by scanning a customer card.

Follow these steps to select a specific customer for a ticket:

  1. Tap on the Ticket screen.

  2. On the ClosedCustomer screen, tap Search or Add Customer.

  3. Tap Search Customer (or the button) and enter all or part of the customer's name, phone number, e-mail address, or customer number in the ClosedSearch bar.

  4. Tap the customer you're looking for to Closedassign the customer to the ticket.

Follow these steps to select a specific customer for a ticket:

  1. In the Customer area of the ClosedMobile Point of Sale screen, tap Search or Add Customer.

If you are using your iPad in portrait orientation, tap the Lock button to display the Customer area.

  1. Tap Search Customer (or the  button) and enter all or part of the customer's name, phone number, e-mail address, or customer number in the Search bar.

  2. Tap the customer you're looking for to Closedassign the customer to the ticket.
