Entering a Check Payment

Tap the link for the CPMobile device you are using:

ClosediPhone/iPod Touch

Follow these steps to enter a check payment:

  1. On the ClosedEnter Payments screen, tap the Check pay code you are using.

  2. On the ClosedAmount screen, enter the amount the customer is tendering by check.

You can use the numeric keypad to enter the Amount manually, or you can tap the dollar amount buttons to add the corresponding value to the Amount (i.e., $1, $5, $10, or $20).

Tap Exact Change to set the Amount value to the Amount due value.

Tap Next Dollar to set the Amount value to the Amount due value, rounded to the next whole dollar.

  1. Tap Done to display the ClosedPayment Prompts screen.

If you tapped Exact Change or Next Dollar on the Amount screen, the Payment Prompts screen appears automatically.

  1. Complete the additional information required by the check pay code (e.g., Driver's lic, License state, Birth date, and so forth).
  2. Tap Done to add the payment to the ticket and return to the Enter Payments screen. The payment is displayed in the ClosedPayments area.
