Adding a New Item

When you scan an item, if the item isn't found, follow these steps to add a new item record:

  1. Tap the Closedticket line for the item.

  2. On the ClosedNew Item screen, tap Item no and enter an item number for the item.

Leave the Item no field blank to auto-assign the next available item number to the item.

  1. Tap Descr. and enter a description.

  2. Tap Category to display the Categories screen, and then tap the category you want to assign to the item.

  3. Tap Subcategory, and then tap the subcategory to assign to the item.

  4. Tap Price-1 and enter the item's price.

  5. Tap the Save button to save the new item record and return to the Ticket screen.
