Receipt Configuration

NCR Counterpoint V8.4.4.1 includes all of the necessary form groups to allow CPMobile users to print receipts to a Bluetooth receipt printer,  IP receipt printer, or network printer, or to send receipts via e-mail.

If the form groups listed below are not available on the Form Groups window (Setup > Point of Sale > Form Groups), select System > Utilities > Pre-defined Data and click Update to create these form groups.

The CPMobile form groups that Counterpoint includes are:

  • MOBILEBT - Prints 32-column receipts (Receipt1-32col.rdlc) to a Bluetooth or IP receipt printer.

  • MOBILEEM - Sends standard receipts (Receipt1.rpt) via e-mail as PDF file attachments.

  • MOBILES - Prints standard receipts (Receipt1.rpt) to your server's default Windows printer.

If you are using a Bluetooth or IP receipt printer, you will be prompted to connect to it the first time you complete a ticket in CPMobile Point of Sale. However, you must complete the E-mail Configuration steps before completing a ticket to be able to send the receipt via e-mail.

You do not need to modify these form groups, although you can change the assigned Button image and Form filename, if you wish.

If you change the Form filename for the MOBILEBT form group, receipts printed to a Bluetooth printer may be unreadable.

Counterpoint also includes a 32-column receipt form (Receipt1-32col.rdlc) that is suitable for printing to mobile Bluetooth printers. You can use this receipt as is, or you can modify it to meet your needs with Counterpoint's Receipt Editor.

Refer to the NCR Counterpoint V8.4.4 Release Notes or the Counterpoint SQL Online Help for more information about using the Receipt Editor to modify .rdlc receipts.
