Configuring Signature Capture Settings

CPMobile allows you to specify whether you want to Closedcapture customer signatures on your CPMobile device(s) when you complete a ticket that includes a credit card payment.

If you enable signature capture, when you complete a ticket that includes a credit card payment, the customer can use a fingertip to sign the CPMobile device directly. The captured signature will be included on the printed receipt.

If you disable signature capture, CPMobile will print a sales draft for the customer to sign when you print a receipt for a ticket that includes a credit card payment.

Follow these steps to enable or disable signature capture on your CPMobile device:

  1. From the CPMobile main menu, tap the button to display the Settings screen.

  2. In the ClosedSignature capture section, tap the Prompt for signature on/off switch to enable (ON) or disable (OFF) signature capture on the CPMobile device.

  3. Tap Done (on an iPhone or iPod Touch) or Close (on an iPad) to return to the main menu.
