Configuring Cash Drawer Settings

If you are using an Epson TM-T88V (IP) printer with a cash drawer, follow these steps to configure CPMobile to open the cash drawer when necessary:

1. From the CPMobile main menu, tap the button.

2. From the Printers section, tap Configure printers to display the Printers screen.

   

3. Tap the button next to an Epson TM-T88V (IP) printer connected to a cash drawer to display the Printer detail screen.

4. Tap the Cash drawer on/off switch (turning it ON) to indicate that a cash drawer is connected to the printer.

   

5. Tap Done to return to the Printers screen, and then tap Done again to return to the Settings screen.

6. Tap Open cash drawer.

7. Tap one of the following cash drawer settings:

   

• Always - With this setting, CPMobile will automatically open the cash drawer when you print a receipt for a ticket that includes one or more cash payments.

• Ask - With this setting, CPMobile will prompt you to open the cash drawer when you print a receipt for a ticket that includes one or more cash payments.

  

• Never - With this setting, CPMobile will never open the cash drawer, requiring you to open it manually to insert or remove cash from the drawer.

8. Tap Done (on an iPhone or iPod Touch) or Close (on an iPad) to return to the main menu.
