Installing CPMobile Services (for Radiant Retail Partners only)

CPMobile Services allow for new CPMobile features to be introduced without requiring an NCR Counterpoint update. You must install CPMobile Services on your Counterpoint server(s) to use certain features of each new version of CPMobile.

CPMobile Services can only be installed by a Radiant Retail Partner. Contact your Radiant Retail Partner to complete this part of the deployment process.

Each time you install a new version of CPMobile, download and install the current version of CPMobile Services by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the Radiant Retail Channel Portal and select Products > Retail Applications > CPMobile.

  2. Click the Implementing CPMobile tab.

  3. Scroll down to the CPMobile Services Update Installer and click the Download link to download the CPMobile Update installer.

  4. Extract the CPMobileUpdate.zip archive to your Counterpoint server, and then double-click CPMobileUpdate.exe to start the CPMobile Update installer.

  5. Click Next on the Welcome dialog, and then click Next on the Start Installation dialog.

The installer will stop CPServices on your Counterpoint server, install the necessary CPMobile Services components, and then restart CPServices.

  1. Click Finish when the installation is complete.

If you are using Counterpoint in a Multi-Site environment, repeat these steps for each of your Counterpoint servers (i.e., Hub and Remotes).
